| The fire anims are essentially the same technique as the 2 explorations
below, but pushing it a lot further. Short of giving an outright recipe,
the SLA shaders involved are, Fusion (lots), 3d Noise, Distorter, Colorizer,
Gradient. The scenes contain only the torus and a light. That's all. No
particles or nuttin'. In both of these, the camera is IN the flames at the end. True volumetric, fly-thru-able smoke and fire. The 2 examples above are pretty much the same materials with only a few params tweaked. |
